The success of his mystic effort was due to the effective use of ”ilm” (knowledge), ”Ishq” (cosmic emotion), and ”Aql” (practical wisdom combined with intuitive intelligence), as means for the proliferation of ideas. People have special reasons to be proud of Him and have cherished his memory for centuries.
MIRACLES
Dada Peer Zahoor Shah (R.A) remained in Allah’s mystic devotion for innumerable years abstaining from eating and drinking. He did so much ibaadat that his grade kept on boosting along with his powers by the grace of Allah. Satan could not bear it and had the desire to misguide Dada Peer.
Satan took the form of a ”Farishta” (angel) approached Dada Peer and said that he has never seen any human or farishta do so much ibaadat comparing to Him.
Then, a prodigious phenomenal ultimate exquisite palace that ever existed in the universe surfaced. Satan asked Dada Peer (R.A) to enter the palace as he has reached his goal. As Dada Peer Zahoor Shah (R.A) wielded vast spiritual influence, he already knew that Satan is playing his tricks to delude him. Dada Peer (R.A) just bowed his pious head, closed his eyes, and opened it. With just a blink of his pious eyes, the palace was turned into ashes and Satan also was destroyed along with the palace.
From that day, Satan does not have the courage to approach and confront Dada Peer (R.A) as they are all afraid of him.
Once, a renowned Sheikh came to Mauritius. He was one of the followers of Rifai ”Silsila” (Sufi order). He attracted a large number of devotees. To show his powers, he cut a man in four and put him in a ”deg” (cauldron) and requested people to see the miracle, he is going to make that person revive again. The Sufi saint recited all the Wazifas that he used to do, alas the person did not wake up as Satan had already played his tricks. Sheikh was tired of trying and was panicked.
One person from the public requested the Sheikh to seek help from a great personality in the colony named Dada Peer Zahoor Shah (R.A). The Sufi Saint was all tuckered out of so many trials and was shaky, so he promptly conceded to seek help from Dada Peer (R.A).
They requested Dada Peer Zahoor Shah (R.A) to come and help. He came in a blissful form. The public was gazing at him curiously wanting to know what he would perform so that the person revived. Everyone cleared the way for Dada Peer (R.A) to pass.
He just came near the ”deg” (cauldron), tapped it once with his Pious hand, and said ”Outho” (wake up), then went away without any word. Miraculously the person in the cauldron woke up within seconds, without even a little scar on him by the graciousness of Peer Zahoor Shah (R.A).
During the time, Dada Peer Zahoor Shah (R.A) was working at Rose Belle Sugar Factory, there was a dispute between the employees and the manager of the factory concerning the conditions of work. When the manager turned down their complaints, the factory stopped without any cause of breakdown. The manager seeing no way of starting the factory, came to Dada Peer Zahoor Shah (R.A) to present his apology. Soon after, the factory resumed its normal activities.
