Hazrat Ja’far ibn Ali (R.A)
Hazrat Ja’far ibn Ali (R.A) was born to Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A) and Fatima Bint Hizam (R.A), in Medina. His father, Hazrat Ali (R.A), was the cousin of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Ja’far (R.A) had three full brothers, named Hazrat Abbas (R.A), Hazrat Abdullah (R.A) and Hazrat Uthman (R.A).

Hazrat Ja’far ibn Ali (R.A) was born to Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A) and Fatima Bint Hizam (R.A), in Medina. His father, Hazrat Ali (R.A), was the cousin of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Ja’far (R.A) had three full brothers, named Hazrat Abbas (R.A), Hazrat Abdullah (R.A) and Hazrat Uthman (R.A). Their mother Fatima (R.A) thus became known as Umm al-Banin (mother of the sons). Ja’far ibn Ali (R.A) was named by Hazrat Ali (R.A) after the latter’s brother, Ja’far ibn Abi Talib (R.A).
LIFE
Hazrat Ja’far ibn Ali (R.A) was born into the noble household of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A) and Fatimah bint Hizam (R.A). Growing up in an environment deeply imbued with Islamic teachings, he absorbed the essence of spirituality and righteousness from an early age.
Hazrat Ja’far (R.A) was one of the companions of Imam Hussain (R.A) in the Battle of Karbala in 680 AD, where he was martyred alongside his brothers Hazrat Abbas (R.A), Hazrat Abdullah (R.A) and Hazrat Uthman (R.A).
