Hazrat Talha ibn Hasan ibn Ali (R.A)
Hazrat Talha (R.A) was born to Hazrat Hasan (R.A) and Umm Ishaq, in Medina. His father, Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A), was the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He had a sister named Fatima Bint Hasan (R.A).

LINEAGE
Hazrat Talha (R.A) was born to Hazrat Hasan (R.A) and Umm Ishaq, in Medina. His father, Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A), was the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He had a sister named Fatima Bint Hasan (R.A).
His mother, Umm Ishaq, the daughter of Talha ibn Ubayd Allah, was described as extremely beautiful. Muawiyah proposed her marriage to his son, Yazid, when he met her brother, Ishaq ibn Talha, in Damascus, however Ishaq, returning to Medina, gave her to al-Hasan (R.A), which made Muawiyah give her up. Imam Hasan (R.A) asked his younger brother Imam Hussain (R.A), to marry her after his death.
His association with the household of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) (Ahl-e-Bayt) provides him a spiritual respect.
