Hazrat Muhsin ibn Ali (R.A)
Muhsin ibn Ali (R.A), also spelled Mohsin, was the youngest son of Bibi Fatima bint Muhammad (R.A) and Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A), and thus a maternal grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Muhsin ibn Ali (R.A), also spelled Mohsin, was the youngest son of Bibi Fatima bint Muhammad (R.A) and Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A), and thus a maternal grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He was a brother of Imam Hussain ibn Ali (R.A) and Imam Hasan ibn Ali (R.A). It is said that Muhsin ibn Ali (R.A) died in infancy.
The name Muhsin (R.A), like those of his brothers Imam Hasan (R.A) and Imam Hussain (R.A), comes from the Arabic root Ḥ-S-N. Muhsin can mean beneficent, benefactor, or the one who does the act of helping.
While historical records about Muhsin ibn Ali (R.A) are limited, his spiritual significance, because of being a member of the Prophet’s family, makes him a revered figure whose memory is cherished by Muslims worldwide.
